Production Scheduler
Job Description
The Production Scheduler is responsible for the overall coordination of all production control activities to ensure that customer expectations are met, as well as meeting company objectives. Uses independent judgment and exercises discretion in executing their duties. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality
Essential Functions
1. Supervises manufacturing production planning efficiently utilizes machines, personnel, and inventory to meet budget goals and customer expectations.
2. Communicating with people inside or outside the company where matters discussed require resourcefulness, tact and a working knowledge of policies, practices, and procedures.
3. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1. Post High School training or education. College degree preferred.
2. Good knowledge of manufacturing systems.
3. Above average analytical skills.
4. Supervisory experience preferred.
5. Sound knowledge of manufacturing and scheduling.
6. Self-starter with strong leadership communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability.
